Delhi is around 300 KMs from Nainital and it takes around 7 hours to reach airport (considering a break of 40 minutes in between).
The entire route from Nainital to Delhi is good. You can either go from Kaladungi and then Bajpur – Moradabad from Moradabad its all expressway till Delhi.
You can stop for a break in Gajrulla (many restaurant options) which takes around 4.5 hours from Nainital.
